You take photographs. You want people to see them. Every site builder wants you to learn its editor first, and every agency wants hundreds of pounds and a fortnight.
You already know how to put files in a folder. That is the whole skill Vivian needs. The folder is your site: add a photograph and it appears, write a page in a Google Doc and it is published, take something out of the folder and it is gone from the site.
What Vivian Does
Galleries from Drive
Point Vivian at a Google Drive folder. It syncs the images, makes fast-loading thumbnails, and shows them as galleries. Nothing is uploaded to Vivian itself; the folder is the content.
Pages from Docs
Your about page, your services, your news and your blog are Google Docs in the same Drive. Edit the doc and the page updates.
Lay It Out Your Way
Arrange each gallery page from sections: a hero image, a gallery grid, a block of text, a header, a footer. Set the order of the photographs.
Private Until You Say
A gallery is public or private, one switch. Private galleries and hidden photographs are kept out of reach until you turn them on.
Your Own Address
Your site lives at its own public address, ready to put on a card or a caption, and looks right on a phone, a tablet or a large screen.

Vivian uses the Google account that owns the Drive. No passwords, and nothing to set up beyond choosing the folder.

One Thing to Know
Vivian publishes what you give it. Only put photographs and documents in the folder you connect that you are happy to have on a public site; keep the rest elsewhere in your Drive.
